Your First VisiT

You will receive a comprehensive exam, consisting of standard orthopedic, postural, neurological, and other appropriate tests. Regardless of your condition, our staff is here to help you through the entire process.

Being prepared will save you time and we recommend that you bring:

  1. Any diagnostic test results that pertain to your problem such as MRI, Bone Scan, Radiographs, EMG.

  2. A list of any prescription medications, if any.

  3. Remember pertinent medical and health history

  4. Insurance card

  5. Drivers license or Identification

  6. Accident report if appropriate

Our Staff will assist you with the preparation of your paper work

There are a few forms that you will need to fill out on your first visit. This paperwork provides us with your health history and information on your current condition. Our staff is here to help you with any questions you may have with these forms.

Examination with Dr. Alexander

Next, the examination to gather information about your body and your condition is performed. This enables Dr. Alexander to grade your condition, define what structures and tissues are affected, and how it affects the function and motion of your body.

X-rays

Next, X-rays. These X-rays will assist Dr. Alexander to answer questions regarding your condition. These will help him identify where your symptoms may be coming from, how severe your condition may be, and how he can effectively treat your pain. X-rays alert Dr. Alexander of any serious spinal conditions, congenital anomalies, tumors, or other serious health conditions. This testing is not solely spinal. It is comprehensive. These tests will provide us with the necessary information to design a personalized treatment plan specifically for you!

Your second visit

Report of findings

Once the information is gathered and exams are performed, Dr. Alexander will give you a detailed report of all findings and answer any questions that you may have. After reviewing your health history, X-rays, and your goals, Dr. Alexander will discuss recommendations and let you know if your condition requires care with other providers. We will provide the best treatment for your needs.

Begin your recovery

At this time, you will experience your first adjustment. Depending on your case, this may include spinal adjustments, physical therapy, and/or other appropriate techniques. Treatment is interactive, so you can express concerns about the different styles of treatment anytime. Remember, we are here to assist you in your journey through holistic care.
